Conference fees

Early registration for INEBRIA 2009 is now available until 31st July 2009. The cost of early registration for the two day event has been set at the competitive price of £75, and £50 for students and delegates from transitional and developing countries. From the 1st August 2009 the cost of the conference will rise to £125, and £100 for students and delegates from transitional and developing countries.


The pre-conference half day SIPS event (7th October 2009) is free, however, priority will be given to those attending the full conference.

Conference speakers

We are pleased to announce that three plenary speakers with international reputations in the field of SBI and have now been confirmed: Dr Peter Anderson, Public Health Consultant, Professor Eileen Kaner, Chair of Public Health Research, Newcastle University and Professor Jonathan Shepherd, Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Cardiff University. The forth plenary space will be awarded to the best submitted abstract.


Other speakers will include: Dr Jim McCambridge, Senior Lecturer in Behaviour Change, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Dr John Cunningham, Associate Professor, University of Tornoto, Professor Colin Drummond, Institute of Psychiatry and Professor Nick Heather, Emeritus Professor of Alcohol and Other Drug Studies, University of Northumbria.
